太阳会发光，能照亮地球的一半。面对太阳的那一半被照亮，就是白天；背对太阳、照不到阳光的那一半，就是黑夜。
地球大约每 24 小时自转一圈。随着地球转动，我们所在的地方会从亮的一面转到暗的一面，再从暗的一面转回亮的一面，于是就经历了白天和黑夜。
